You might want to take a look at some information on the Australian Club thread related to insurance. I recently got into an extended discussion with an American insurance investigator about "collector" policies and their very real restrictions. More Cobra/replica owners need to be aware of what he had to say.
Also, I'm not sure if you meant the last line of your post to mean, "the best is the least expensive" or not. The best insurance IS the least expensive, until you file a claim. Insurance can be like most things in life, you get what you pay for.
