Shelby CAV Status
Correct me if I am wrong but:
#1. SAI had a major supplier go out of business just as they went to release a new product #2. SAI has taken steps to take fix the issue and produce cars #3. The result of items #1 and #2 has been a delay #4. SAI has offered refunds to anyone who does not want to wait What is the problem? SAI had a problem, they fixed it, they are working to get things back on track and they have offered refunds to those who have put down deposits. What is the issue?:CRY: |

SINCE MY LAST THREAD ON THIS ISSUE WAS CLOSED DOWN BECAUSE MOST CHOSE TO REACT WITHOUT READING, I STATE THE FOLLOWING;
IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION THERE IS A RUMOR REGARDING THE CAV CAR. HERE IS WHAT I HAVE HEARD AND DO NOT CLAIM FACT TO ANY OF THE FOLLOWING . THE 4 CAV CARS IN LAS VEGAS WERE MADE BEFORE CAV CLOSED/RESTUCTURED OR WHATEVER YOU WANT TO CALL IT. NO SUBSEQUENT CARS HAVE BEEN MADE BY CAV SOUTH AFRICA TO DATE. I HAVE BEEN PERSONALLY CONTACTED BY CONCERNED BUYERS WITH DEPOSITS ON CARS(FACT) TO CLEAR UP THE ISSUE, I SUGGESTED THAT PHOTO'S OF THE NEW CAV PRODUCTION LINE AND FACILITY BE POSTED. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THER IS A BUYERS ONLY WEBSITE AT SHELBY BUT NO-ONE HAS COME FORWARD TO POST ANY PHOTO'S YET THER ARE STILL BUYER CONCERNS. ***VERY IMPORTANT.........THIS FORMER SHELBY OWNER HAS SUGGESTED TO MANY THAT THEY BUY THE CAV/SHELBY CAR BECAUSE IF THE DEAL AND CAR WERE TRUE, THEN THERE WOULD NOT BE ANOTHER CHOICE IN A REPLICA. I EVEN STARTED AND STATED THE VERY SAME IN A THREAD. MY INTENTIONS ARE PURE AND WOULD JUST LIKE THE TRUTH MADE KNOWN SO ALL THE OTHER ROCK THROWERS AND SPECULATORS CAN POST SOMEWHERE ELSE. I AM TIRED OF DEFENDING MYSELF WITH A BUNCH THAT WOULD RATHER SHOOT FIRST THAN ASK INTELLIGENT QUESTIONS. |

THIS former Shelby owner says, the next group of Shelby owners should do what THEY think is right, not what FORMER Shelby owners think.
How does a former ownership of any product make you or me an expert on what others should do? Why should they give a rat's a$$ what WE think. I can't imagine anyone contacting you for your opinions on cars any more than them contacting me on insurance and diamonds. Steve, you really need to find a healthier way to iron out your personal problems with a specific manuafturer rather than flying to Provo and going back home and proceeding to blast another company. Really doesn't look good. Allow the people to take up Shelby on their offering of "refunds" if they are NOT comfortable with their purchase. If I was one of them, I wouldn't be calling YOU, I would be on the phone with Brent in Las Vegas. Your intentions are anything but "pure". Enough BS. TURK There WERE more than 2 cars in Las vegas. I think this is the4th time or so you are told that. Stop demanding photos. Noone owes you anything. Go take your own photos. Geez !! |

Have you heard about the new man made diamonds for sale? A first, got De Beers running scared. These new ones are SO good it takes very expensive and elaborate equipement to tell them apart from the "real" ones.

Thanks for clearing up the issues. I was not in Las Vegas or were the 2 buyers that I have been in touch with.
I didn't think all of this was going to be such a mess. Shelby offers a great deal on a CSX Cobra, they take orders and then if you ask questions it like "Niagra Falls".... Slowely I turn, step by step....am I dating myself yet? |
