That's a very nice-looking belt grinder, seems like a combination of the Square Wheel and Bader, with the good qualities of both. I was into custom knife making 20+ years ago and have had a Bader since the early 1980's. Too bad you weren't around then!

One thing nobody here has mentioned, or I haven't seen, anyway, is that that white car you drove at Dynamic is at least a year and a half old and perhaps quite a bit older. Unless they've replace their white demo car with another one just like it, it's the same car I drove in July of 2002. It's been driven fairly hard on a regular basis, in order to impress potential customers, and has also had a lot of its miles put on by newbies, wannabees, first-timers, etc. True, it's been maintained by the Dynamic staff, but it hasn't had the pampered life most Cobras enjoy. I think the fact that it looks and drives as well as it does is impressive.

I hope you visited Performance Engineering while you were in Ross. They're right behind Dynamic, but the folks at Dynamic may not have made the suggestion. Eric Hinderberger, who runs PE, has built many motors for the SPF cars, including mine, and has an enviable reputation for doing good work and standing by his motors. Eric is now a Shelby dealer, which apparently is causing some heartburn between the two but it gives potential Cobra buyers an opportunity to compare the two cars. Eric has built BB's, SB's and FE's so he can power your car however you want, if that's the route you decide to go. When I was there in November, he was finishing up a Shelby aluminum block FE with aluminum heads, etc. Very tasty.
