True007,

To space the fans from the radiator I put about four layers of corrugated cardboard, so they are quite close ... maybe a half inch or so.

The gasket material did just take up the slack, but it did make it easier to install the whole setup with the brackets tight on the mounting bar. I cut the mounting bar a little shorter than the width from sidewall to sidewall, that way I could slide the brackets a little to assure a proper fit. A little WD40 provided the lubrication.

My front fans are wired to the same circuit as the puller fan. ERA's wiring harness splits to allow that. I did not put the front fans on a separate fuse. Finish Line provided one. I'll take a look tonight to see if I can find it.

The POR product was a brush on product, "Glisten PC" I think. I applied it to the mounting hardware, fans and motor.

So far I have not noticed any problems as a result of having the front fans, or running them at the same time as the puller fan. I cruise at about 180 and when idling get up around 190. The fans kick in at around 180 and seem to work well.
