A drive with Snow Mobile suit and Helmet
I had a great drive yesterday.
35 degress windy and snow flurries.
No problem for me I had on my full face helmet and snow mobile suit.
I just got tired of waiting for spring.

I have used my wet suits before. For those few that don't know what I am refering to they are neoprene suits used for scuba diving. I have a picture some where, snorkel and all, I will try and see if I can get it to 'surface'

Hey,
Cap and a leather jacket yesterday, and we're NORTH of you!!
Occasional snowflakes, but the ground was dry, just too cold to put much to the pavement. I just wanted to get the oil heated up and get ready for Spring, too.
But, brother, it WAS brisk...

I found that when the temps are below the posted speed limit, the tires usually don't work very well for traction.
Once when I was 20, a friend and I though it would be cool to take the Jeep - CJ7 to Killington VT, camping/skiing. It was 50 degrees, late May, and 10pm when we left Connecticut with NO top or doors on.
By the time we hit Greenfield MA, there was frost and we still had 80 miles to go. It was so cold driving, we put on ski gear and actualy each got into our own sleeping bags. By unzipping the lower part of the bag, I could get my feet out and operate the pedals. With gloves, hats, gogles, and sleeping bag, I drove the rest of the way.
It was well worth it, and a memory for life. A great day of Sunny Spring Skiing followed.
I can't help to think what the cops would have thought if we parished in an accident. "....what the he!!. Were they driving in their sleep?"

Why all the extra gear?? It was 82 degrees yesterday.
I had to find some shade to rest in while doing yardwork. Winter is a great opportunity to work in the yard.

I have drove with a snowmobil suite and a helment a lot of times... 2 years ago I drove 2.5 hours from my house to Charlotte to the auto fair.... I left at 4am.. 27 degrees.....

Rare day here in WA for this time of year--65-70 and sunshine, wife and I cruised from the Island to Neah Bay (at the NW corner of the state) mostly sweatshirt weather--longest drive so far in this car--about 250 mi rt--Vic drove up I drove back--fun day

no need for cold weather gear today. Sun is shining and I'm off to the bank to take out a loan to buy a tank of premium ( gas is about $180.00 per gallon here ) and then off I go!

actually my cobra is slated to be my daily driver.
I need to install the heater and soft top I'm I'll be set to go.
I built it to drive not sit in the garage!
