Ok but the point I am making is it does not apply in this case. A jet engine is a closed and pressurized system not open to outside contaminates like an internal combustion engine. Non of the "oil" in a jet engine is open to the outside as it is kept in a sealed system. As such it does not have to contend with all of the contaminates that are found in a car engine.
I hear this argument all the time when it comes to synthetics and for me it just does not apply. Kind of like apples and oranges.
