Overall, I like the product quite a bit. If you've been using Meguiar's for years (like I have) then the first one or two layers won't seem like anything phenomenal. I have 6 coats applied in the pictures here (Z5-5-2-5-2, and 5 for those who care) and it's just starting to approach the result I'm looking for (I had a swirl mark problem - and I'm just a wee tad anal). I have since applied another coat of Z5 and plan to apply more before the Unique homecoming event if my wife doesn't kill me first.
If you're considering this product, you should plan to apply numerous coats to get the results you really want. The good news is that the application and removal are very easy. No elbow grease required! Waiting for the product to completely dry in South Carolina's 90% humidity, on the other hand, well... that's nothing less than aggrivating. This needs to be done over the winter for us Southern folks.
As a side note, It's worth using the product if only to see first-hand how well it beads and sheets-away water. Astounding. Meguiar's will NOT bead water this well!!!
Here's some more pics. I'm happy so far and I'm sure I'll get happier as more coats are applied. My above criticisms are simply my objective observations.

Keith your right about it taking several coats and the water beading. Nice part is once those coats are on it's not like they just disappear. Wait a couple weeks and put on two more coats and it will look like a brand new paint job. The stuff just amazes me. It can make a cheap paint job look great and a great paint job look even better.

Yes, Zaino Bros. polishes are really great. Just make sure to always end up with #2 as the last coat. Multiple coats really make the difference. This is a case where "Too Much is Not Enough". The build up is visible as you add more. Just make sure you let the Zaino dry well before you take it off with a cotton towel.
If you have not tried their #16 Perfect Tire Gloss, give it a test. THis is a milky white licquid that you apply to a clean tire with a rag. A little goes a long way and it makes the tires BLACK and with a satin lusterous sheen. They are not greasy looking or wet. It dries and after a few coats, you need less and less of it to keep the tires nice over time. It also works well on the rubber shield in front of the typical Cobra windshield.
Lastly, Zaino makes a glass cleaner polish that is just super.

This is why I love this site. I tried Zaino on my car just the other day and I was not impressed at all. Then I thought well maybe it takes a few coats. I'll pose a question on the cobra forum and see what people say. I turn on the computer and here is this thread. I'll keep going and see what I get. One question though. After you have the several coats on does the car feel smooth and slick like it does with other waxes? My car did not after the one coat of Zaino.

You also want to make sure you remove any waxes that are currently on the car before applying Zaino.
If your paint has some miles on it you might want to take the clay bar to it. Really helps create a super smooth surface for the polish.

Some work but not all that much. Go to the web site and read FAQ's and recommendations for application. Should be able to be done on a weekend and then not have to worry over much about it for another 4-6 months.

Just wondering....I purchased the whole Zaino system, but haven't used it yet. My car has a pretty incredible paint job that is all Mercedes Brilliant Silver and no visible imperfections other than the normal proud war wounds from road rash. I've waxed it twice with Zymoil over the winter, and really couldn't tell any difference before or after.
So for all you Zaino vets, I can understand how Zaino would really benefit a darker color like red, blue, or black, but would it really produce a significant benefit on a silver car?

I'm with you. Not much of a waxer at all, much prefer to drive or autox or open track. But I do like to try to keep it fairly clean when I get the time. I have Zaino stuff too...first got it back in the days when I owned my Corvette.
But I've got a question for you show and shine guys. My house has very hard water, and water spots appear very quickly if I don't towel dry the car in seconds. How do I get water spots out??

I too was a die hard Meguiar's user. Zderf has been trying to talk me into trying Zaino for 2 years and I finally caved about a month ago. The up-side is Zaino's will shine your car like nothing else...period. The down-side is every single little imperfection on my 14 year old, former track car, dark blue metallic paint is now glaringly apparent. That said, from 10 feet the car looks great. I tried to get some good Zaino "shiny" pics, but for some reason, the car in the pictures doesn't look any shinier than before.
Now, on my guards red other car with fairly nice paint this stuff is fabulous. Just to see what would happen, I tried a coat of Z-5 with no prep (i.e. detergent wash, clay bar, polish lok) and the shine put Meguiar's to shame.

I had the same question. I have a silver SPF and I have applied 5 coats, still don't see much of a difference. Any thing I am doing wrong?
As I suspected, and why I asked the question. A good silver paint job seems to be shiny no matter what you do to it, and doesn't get any shinier. Thus, I think any old wax will do to protect from contaminants.
I think I'll save the whole Zaino system I purchased for something else.
