Default Uncommon Cobra Colors

Although Cobras look great in blue, red, silver and black, I would like to see some of the less common colors or are color combinations.

So Cobra members who have taken the road less traveled lets see your colors.

I am looking for ideas.

My car is yellow with a malachite green racing stripe. Most people think that the stripe looks black when they first see it, but then notice that something is unusual about it. I have been told that I am the only SPF, phehaps the only Cobra, with this color combination. It is the reverse of the old Lotus racing colors. Picture can be seen in the photo gallery.

Jon, that Prowler Orange is one of Backdrafts cars and the stripes are on both sides of the fenders. Also, it's available.

Mine is dark green metallic with pearl white stripes. Both colours are '97 Cadillac, Dark Caribe Metallic, and Diamond White. No use to post a picture since the colours do not photograph well. The pearl doesn't stand out and the green always looks blue-ish.

Regards,
Wayne

I thought real long & hard about this as I wanted that real vintage apeal but didn't want a normal color scheme. The truth is that those normal colors you see are there for a reason, they look really good on Cobras which made it really dificult. What helped me decide was building some plastic models cars & painting them to see how they would look. The three color schemes I considered were #1 Baby blue with an orange stripe & white meatballs. #2 Black with an orange stripe & orange meatballs & #3 2003 Saab Dolphin Gray with a black stripe & black meatballs. I am going with #3.

The body goes to the painter on Thursday to get a coat of British Racing Green, a 2000 Jaguar color. No stripes. Maybe I can get a good picture in a week or so.

Howdy! I have a Malachite Green with white striped SPF and I am pleasantly suprised how many compliments I get on the unusual color and how it pops when the sun hits it!

I think it is great so see such a variety of color combinations!

Hey gotta go drive um and have fun!

See you! John
