Sponsors Needed
Well, I brought home a new "project" today,65 Mustang Coupe, going to be a 65 Mustang Vintage Road Race car someday, hopefully later this year.......Pretty solid body and NO snakes or rats in it like the last couple of Mustangs I looked at........
Will accept any and most everything from anyone wanting to be a race car sponsor .......
Plans are for a 6 point roll cage,331 stroker,toploader,9" rear end with a 3.50 rear gear and Detroit locker,Hoosier Road Race tires, four wheel disc brakes top the list amoung other things........
Now have a something to keep me busy on weekends besides yardwork......Even picked out my car number as the photo will show........
David (future vintage race driver)

Thanks, I hope it does, got it pretty much stripped down today, took out the motor-trans-seats (front/rear),carpet-rear quarter glass and regulators-fuel tank, all left is the dash area, heater box/core and a few little odds and ends.... Will load it back up on the trailer and head out to the car wash to clean inside and out.....
Have the seats (freshly recovered with new padding also) sold as well as the heater box/core.....motor and trans are freshly rebuilt but the motor is no good, they let it sit in the rain or something and it has water in the two center cylinders and is pretty well sezied up,going to junk it,but if anyone needs a rebuilt trans for a six cylinder Mustang, speak now,it is free for the picking up........
Next week I'm going to make a rotiserie, went look at one today, very simple and works quite well....
Made more headway today than I thought I would, not sure if I'm going to paint it red w/white stripes or blue w/white stripes, right now it's a tossup.........have time to figure that one out.........
David
