pacific roadster, vui's new shop

scott, i'm new to this site and not sure how to pm you, you can talk to vui, his phone is 503-871-0159, his new shop is out on jackson school road in south salem, in fact he just installed a completely new paint booth, give him a call, i know he is booked heavy so plan ahead for a time frame for a paint job. He just finished mine and it turned out amazing. when i figure out how to post i will try to get some pics in the gallery. the pics were taken inside the booth so the color is off from being outside in natural light, he did ghost stripes and flames for me, i let him do all the paint color and detail decisions with my wife, turned out very cool, we hope to have it up and going by the first of may as we are going to the nwcb in nevada, also i live in aumsville, if you have any questions or want to chat, my ph is 503-314-7310

I want to build a Pacific Roadster basic roadster kit , but I would like to see what I will get first. Any one have a unbuilt Pacific Roadster picture. I am just finishing an awesome engine to power my cobra. Also what do I need to take off my 5.0 mustang, (the full list)? My mustang is taking us space I need to build to build the cobra.

I thought I would reply as my friend and I have just finished building one kit each that we purchased from Vui at Pacific Roadster. We started the construction in April and were driving them in September, they are not painted yet but we are in the process of doing that now. If you have any questions about the kit I will be happy to pass them along. You asked for pictures of the kit. I will try to send some. The file size was to big if you are interested I will try to send them later.

You fellas may be intrested in an upcoming issue of Kit Car magazine. It will have a beautiful black and gold PCR that was built by Ken Pike at streetrodpainter.com. Chuck is very proud of his car. Keep an eye out for the issue.............

I am attaching pictures of the cars my friend and I built at home from pacific roadster parts. I think they turned out well and are nice to drive and true to the original in most respects. :)

csingletary01 11-13-2008 06:46 AM

Almost There

Well we are just days away now from driving. I am working in Central Coast of California and have had Ryan Lesher (Lesher Motorsports, Builds Daytona Kit) do the finishing details. Can't hardly wait to drive.

csingletary01 12-08-2008 10:59 PM

It Lives

We took Cobra for First Drive Friday Night. Brought it home from Salinas to King City. Nothing fell off or leaked. Have some run abiltiy issues with the Holley Street Avenger. Made a 100 mile trip on Saturday. Sure feels good to drive after 2 years and lots of checks.

autobody prof. 01-22-2009 11:43 AM

I joined Club Cobra to find other Pacific Roadster owners. Looks like I found a few. I live in northern california and would like to see some other builds. Does anyone live close to Chico?

Scott S 01-22-2009 08:14 PM

Are you a professor at Chico?

Pacific Roadster is a fine Cobra replica I live about 15 miles from the shop.
