I have an older NAF 289 Cobra. The original owner updated the body to Lemans Replica from the original style. (the Lemans Replica was the comp car that was after Lemans, but prior to the FIA). I'm running a Hipo 289 with a Lemans cam (318/320 with .508 lift). Power goes thru a toploader tranny to a Ford 9 inch stuffed with 4.11 gears... Every chance I get I drive it... which is frequent... |

I live on Long Island, NY in a town called Wading River. It is on the North shore where the "forks on the fish" begin. I do not know of another Cobra for thirty miles around. I'm sure there are others out here, it is pretty rural and we haven't met them yet. Maybe this will stir the pot.

I 'm from Oysterbay ,NY completed Classic Roadsters 427 FEB, 99 and drive it four days out of seven. At the last cruise night there were seven Cobra's , were going to give the Toyota population a run for their money in the North east.
