If you start getting technical, there were actually THREE different Daytona Coupe body configurations! CSX2287, the proto, was the only coupe built in California; it has the "most correct" roofline. The next five were constructed in Modena by Carozzeria Gransport. Their first try, CSX 2299, was an attempt to "correct" what they thought was the mistake of the "strange roofline" of the first. (They wanted 2299 to look more like a Ferrari) This car was not as aerodynaically effective as the first, so the next three coupes had a compromised line halfway between the first and second coupes. The new Superformance Coupe has the "correct" roofline of the first car.
