Dark Silver / With Light Silver Stripes. I would've like to have meatballs front and rear but the car was already painted.

I bought a SPF in 2005.....i "thought" my color combo was going to be Indigo Blue w/Titanium stripes...once I got the the dealership in Ohio (where Jim had an Indigo Blue w/Titanium stripes sitting with my name on it) I saw another combo...Sunset Red w/Titanium stripes....blew me away!! Then Jim shows me another car they just received that was ALL Sunset Red with NO stripes and it is such a rich looking car with no stripes and that almost maroonish red that I bought that car.....was delivered in Jan 06, 3 shows so far and 3 #1 finishes....I say screw the Green....have yet to see any green on any of these cars that "stands" out....but hey, that is just my opinion...

Murphy - Like the new wall storage system for your Cobra! Saves space in your garage.

Little Brudda, I never saw an ugly Cobra. Ever.
Just be sure to put the steering wheel on the proper side of the vehicle and provide a roll bar for your passeneger, you will seldom be without one. UT |
Asking for help picking a color is like asking your friends and family for help picking a woman. Lots of people will give you advice, but when it comes right down to it, you will disregard what everyone told you and do what you want any way. What does your gut tell you?
And just for the record, IMO green is a mighty fine color for a Cobra :) |
Cobra Color
You can never be disappointed with a cobra with the classic blue color. Rookie stripes???? only if you plan on racing the car.
Any way I would pick a NICE blue with white or silver stripes. Take a look at my photo gallery |

Intouch. Asking what color YOU should get is kinda like going into a restaurant and asking the waiter what you should order. However, having said that, I've never seen a blue cobra that didn't look good. If you're getting a 427, it is hard to beat a navy blue (of some shade),with white stripes. Just looks outstanding. Or you can go the 'solid color' route with no stripes. What do YOU want to see in your garage?? (assuming you don't have an anti-gravity aluminim Kirkham like Murphy). I just gave my painter the color code number for my ERA FIA - it will be painted a solid color, BMW Mystic Blue (a navy blue, but not too dark). Good luck - it only took me 5 months to decide - and after looking at a zillion blues - I ended going with the one I had originally selected. Rickd

Let me ask a slightly different question. Has anyone ever seen a cobra that was ugly? That might be a color to stay away from.
Personally, mine is black on black and it looks pretty good. |
