lots of repetitive threads for info
Is there anyway 'we' can have a forum for newbie type questions?? It seems like the home page is constantly loaded with the SAME questions, over and over. I know we all start somewhere, and need to know specific things, but it just seems like the same threads are started, several times a day if not just several times a week.
titles like 'new member, looking for answers' or 'newbie, want info on manufacturers' over and over... you get the idea.
Any way to have a forum that isolates these threads?? I KNOW a search by newbies would answer a lot of questions, but it seems like several people have made many posts that answer tons of questions a lot of times!
For instance, Warren's thread regarding manufacturer comparisions could be a sticky in the forum. Other informative threads with relevant information, like cost comparisions, time frame of different builds, etc would all be stickies, or easy to access.
I don't know. Just thinking out loud here, but I just popped into the home page and i think there are 3 separate threads all basically asking the same thing. It gets old!
thanks for your consideration, oh great ones.

Kristen, if you would have done a search, there's already a thread about isolating threads.
Now, does anyone know where I can find 17" wheels for my Cobra? J/K

Great idea, I second the idea being placed at the feet of the great ones. "Twelfth son of the Lama, the flowing robes, the grace, bald, striking....."

I think it's Kristen's swelling photo gallery that is sucking the bandwidth out of the forum engines, thus prohibiting Newbies from performing appropriate searches on the subject matter of their choosing.
I second the nomination for the forum enhancement.

It would definitely be easier for a newb to find info if it was all centralized under one section. Doing a search only nets what you are looking for half the time because the first hour you are reading threads that have nothing to do with what you are looking for but they contain the word/words that you searched! haha
