Three basic reasons: 1) I saw one at Tasca Ford in Providumps, R. I., 2) I saw them race at the Glen and 3) I saw (and reaad) that famous HOT ROD magazine article in July, 1980 (?). That did it. Then I waited 20+ years. Made it all the sweeter.
