				 60,000 Miles on my Cobra!
This past weekend saw my Cobra's odometer tick over the 60,000 mile marker. It was on Hwy 33 headed south, into Ventura from Ojai, after a drive from John Wais's Tri-County Cobras lunch in Ventura.
I have had the Cobra 5 1/2 years, and there was but a mere 12,700 miles on the car from its previous owner. It is a "warmed" 351W, T-5, and 3.08 gears.

Needless to say, I DO drive this Cobra, with three trips to the Western States Cobra Bash, but almost all of the miles are in the Los Angeles/Orange/Ventura/San Berdoo counties here around L.A.

I have the stone chips and the worn leather seats to remind me of what a neat little car this Cobra has turned out to be, but it's really about the
"Smiles per Gallon", and not the "Miles per Gallon"!!! lol !!!

Awsome, I hope that when I get mine done I will be able to drive it enough to put some good miles on it. I am building mine to drive, not set around in the garage and be nothing nut a show car.

 Bravo Sharrol,
I am sorry I missed the tri county get together. Coaching soccer on Saturdays takes priority. I am hoping to be at the next one though. The cruise with multiple Cobras sure turns peoples heads...Fun! 60K is impressive!

Raising my glass (literrally) to Sharroll Celby...the ultimate Cobra road warrior!!
Your profile doesn't list your car type...what is it?

My wife and I love Ojai. My folks live in Southern California, so we usually meet in Ojai or Santa Barbara for Christmas...and golf.

I drive the Cobra EVERY weekend, and once or twice during the week. The weekend trips usually last a minimum of 100-150 miles, be it to the beach in Malibu or Huntington Beach, or just cruising the Angeles Crest Highway for breakfast in the mornings.
