Default 1st. time Cobra owner (Newbie)

Hi my name is Joseph, 29 years old and live in Houston TX
I have had the cobra shelby as a dream car for about 10 years and I just got my first one a few days ago..
I got if off ebay, this is what I got
BUILT BY BC MOTORSPORTS IN ARIZONA, ON A 1969 CORVETTE CHASSIS. IT SPORTS A ROLLER ROCKER 350 WITH A CORVETTE 4 SPEED AND 3:75 POSITRACTION. IT HAS 4 WHEEL POWER DISC BRAKES,4 WHEEL INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION,AND HALIBRANDS WITH KNOCK OFFS. 15X7 FRONT 15X10 REAR FORD BOLT PATTERN.
there are a few this I need to add and maybe you guys can help me out.. BC motorsports is no longer there and I want to add a single person roll bar and maybe get a front bumper. If anyone knows some one in Houston that can make or fab this for me please let me know.
also this is my 1st cobra I paid $25k was that a ok price? and is this car seem good..

Joseph, welcome!

1. Congratulations on your acquisition!
2. Take it slow on the first drives and get used to your new ride. These cars will swap ends very quickly.
3. I'd swap the fluid in those reservoirs...brake and clutch fluid should be mostly clear/light amber.
4. Don't let the purists on this board smack you around too much (i.e. the Chevy powerplant). FWIW, I started on Chevys and am learning Fords with my Cobra. At the end of the day, they are not too much different...just bolts and nuts.
5. Most of all, keep the shiny side up and have fun!

Regards,

-Dean

Nice car, congrats. And dont't worry bout the distributor thing, over here in europe more than 50% of all Cobras are chebby powered. You may tell people, that the dist was moved to the back of the engine due to weight balance reasons...
