Default Next best brand - Avid's are out.
The Yokohama booth at SEMA confirmed the 295/50-15 Avid is no more, unless you can find one in distributors inventory somewhere.

That was to be my tire of choice, it seemed to be the highest rated street tire for all-around conditions.

What would everyone recommend for the next best brand/model. Seems the 15" size is really limiting my choices

Check out M/T. They have a good selection of street radials and drag radials.

I have Dunlops. They seem like a pretty good tire and they come in the 295 sizing.

If you are looking for something like the Avids (as opposed to the GY BB, Avons, drag radials, etc) look at the firestones. They seem to be well rated and reviewed.
