Default Fel Pro Intake Gaskets

Any one try the Fel Pro 1262S intake gaskets for a 302 Ford? They have a metal core. I've read a lot of posts saying the Fel Pro gaskets fail. The Victor Renz are a tad too small. Intake port measures 1.24 x 2.02

Yes, they are the only ones that seem to work, I applied mine with Edlebrock Gaskacinch(sp) and retorqued them a number of times untill they take a good set.

I just assembled a Windsor stroker. I used SCE gaskets. They just use plain gasket material. No beads to fail. They were cheap too and they were made to fit the huge ports on the TFS TW-R heads.

the best results i've achieved is to use the victors, high tack them to the head and cut the ports larger with a razor blade to conform to the ports, then use aviation seal or perma. #2 for the intake.
