Hey, all it takes is ONE buyer (whose bank account is inversely proportional to their IQ...).

A little late

I agree, pricing is only as good as the next sucker.....With "Shelby's" name on it is automatically worth more.... Cars, boats houses, etc are only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

The whole kit car/replica cobra craze got started so the "average" Joe could afford to own a cobra. With a six figure car who can honestly say I plan to drive it and can even afford the insurance.

Talk about a fishing expedition trying to land "the big one".

xracerbob 11-10-2007 12:24 PM

You'd think for $325K they could at least spell Tremec correctly.

427 S/O 11-10-2007 02:16 PM

He failed to mentioned the $300K (cash) in the trunk!!!.

1985 CCX 11-10-2007 02:52 PM

Wow, what a deal!

Madmiles442 11-10-2007 05:48 PM

Shelby

Jamo, This thread is about an overpriced 427 Comp Shelby by Finish Line Motorsports, Inc. of Las Vegas, a licensed Shelby dealer. Where pray tell would you submit this thread, under ERA, or Kirkham?

Dan, That was one heck of a car. It sounds as if you barely broke even, and probably not!

REAL 1 11-11-2007 10:21 AM

Price does seem a little rich for a Continuation series.

Did anyone investigate why the price is so high? Finish Line is a repected dealer. I'm sure theres a reason.

Prices of aluminum cars are going up and so are values. But that is a little high.

New aluminum rollers will be at $127,000.00 soon.
