i am reasonably certain that they are now aware of this potential deal or if not, will be soon. They would be the ideal retailer and we could be sure that their pattern designs would be both visually accurate and contain materially useful engineering improvements to fit the larger brakes, for instance.

i would order one set of each type, for sure.

Since my thread is switching directions anyways, it is my understanding that Halibrand has mag 427 S/C wheels available right now. They have not been available for quite awhile except by special order.

Sorry to divert the thread Mike. I originally said to contact M&A because Ted told me that he was considering making a run of Kidney Beans. I didn't realize that someone else owned the pattern though. I gave the pricing info that Ted gave on the 427s to give folks a ball park price of what the costs would be for mag wheels.

But, now that you mentioned it..... Has anyone seen the new Halibrand mag wheels? Are they available through www.halibrand.com?

No problemo. I like talking about wheels. I talked to Tom K. this week. He said that the new Halibrand S/C wheels are $750 per wheel - $3k a set. No tooling charge applies.
