Default ERA's for sale

Why is it whether on this wonderful site or Cobra country there are so fewer ERA's for sale than any other make? Not as many around? Owners are happier? Sold before they get to one of these sites? What?

Difficult to ascertain a value.

I wouldn't dream of selling my ERA. In fact, one of my greatest fears is that somebody will offer me a ludicrously high price for mine.

There are 8 ERA’s listed for sale at Cobra Country right now but 5 are sold.

It is a combination of low production (They haven't even hit car # 800 yet) and very happy owners.

Happy owners and people saying "If you ever want to sell it. Call me." Lots of ERA's are sold that way, No need to advertise.

ERA's are the second-oldest replica brand still in existence today, and are well known for their asthetic accuracy to the originals, quality, and support from the parent company. Most of them that I have seen are done period-correct, which has the best resale value. When a good ERA comes up for sale and it's priced within reason, it will sell fast. And, as FIA Mike mentioned, some probably trade hands privately.

FWIW, I'd say expect to spend $50+ for a good used one that has all the right period-correct parts and look, and is well sorted out.

I've sold four of my ERAs by word of mouth... never had to advertise. Always got my asking price.
