We're on the new server and the old data is back.
Well, it's been a long time coming...A lot of stess and hours and waiting and lack of sleep and......But here we are.
Gallery works, forum works, etc, etc, etc.
Things I am still working on: - Getting everything configured appropriately (if you see something dorked up, report it here)
- Optimization of the server. We have huge databases, so I may have to archive stuff to really speed it up.
- Working on getting the threads we started over the last few weeks back online (no guarantees!)
- Finish up the redundant server. It's done, except I need to wait for the drives to arrive (using the ones from the old server). Then I'll send off the dupe server and we'll be fully redundant.
Anyways, thanks for your patience and hang in there!

Brent,
Thank you for all the time and hard work you have put in on this. Also CW and Jamo who have been very busy helping. Hopefully you can take the donations and have a break, maybe even a vacation.
Edit: For my part Brent, the threads that were started on the temporary server could be started again here by anyone who never got an answer and that would save you a ton of work trying to sort through them and then transfer them over. I can repost the questions that I asked again with no problem.

Brent,
Take a long nap. You deserve it. And I got the e-mail notification that you had posted this so that is working.

I have chased my tail for several hours on the mail server tonight. Everything looked correct and even other test programs I used to send mail through it acted as though it was all working properly, though no mail was showing up in the mail directories. In the end, I removed the mail service and reinstalled and it worked immediately. I hate that! It's like the computer knew I was tired and needed sleep, but just wanted to toy with me a bit.

Brent,
You are tired and there are most likely going to be some bugs show up after everyone gets back on and starts posting. But everything I have tried so far seems to work great. The small stuff can be sorted out as it turns up. Take a break and go rest.

Thanks!
Fantastic! Kinda felt lost there for a while but this has made my day.
Just a thought, is there a way of putting up the last interim site as an accessible sub-forum here so we can just cut and paste our own individual posts or replies to threads? Or is that going to create a can of worms?

Jamo or CW,
Since Brent wants to use this as a report thread for anything that may show up, what about making it a sticky for a while so it will always be at the top?
