So, is anyone thinking about painting their cobra like this?

This is what you get when you give a really rich guy 2 weeks of free time and a sharpie! haha Yes... A SHARPIE marker!

Is that paint or a mylar wrap?

fsstnotch 01-24-2008 09:27 PM

That was done with a black sharpie! And then cleared over top.

Somebody needs to take away that guys crack pipe. The artistry isn't bad but doing that to a Lambo is too much.

Looks like a car that just came back from the tattoo shop. **)

joey_hv 01-25-2008 06:01 AM

so he used a white sharpie on the windows?
prolly pulling your leg, looks like a vinyl wrap.
pretty cool
if you're into that kind of stuff.

Ferruchio must be doing 9000 RPM in his grave...

When I had a shop in S.F. Ca. I had this guy come in all the time to switch systems on his 928. Once he came in with a dual pipe, and wanted me to run it up the side of his quarter panel. Like a stack on a big rig. I refused to do the work, and his reply to me was. JUST BECAUSE I HAVE MONEY DOESN'T MEAN I HAVE TASTE! This is yet another example of that.

Nope, the windows were done with tint and a razor blade.

It was done with a sharpie. It was done in Florida, the owner didn't personally do it though. After all was done, the car was clear coated so that it wouldn't rub off. It took the artist 2 weeks from start to finish to do all the graphics.

To me, it looks like somehting high school kids do in their notebooks! haha Maybe that's what he did, he searched a few high schools and picked the girl with the most creative notbook, gave them a box of sharpies and said "do your thing!"

I say girl because I'd bet that most guys would say no to doing somehting liek that to a lambo! haha

What an ugly thing to do to a beautiful car...

I am impressed with the artist! especially with the razor work on the tint, that cannot be easy.

I am not a huge fan of the Lambo design in general (Fell in love with the Miura and nothing else compared since) so I kind of like the art work....matches the avant guard design of a Lambo.

lovehamr 01-25-2008 03:27 PM

Personally I find it BFU.

rokfor 01-25-2008 05:43 PM

Who cares if that's a Lambo...it's awesome!

LREYBURN 01-25-2008 05:44 PM

When we lived in Lake Oswego, Oregon and there were some suspicious mushrooms growing in a field just south of our house and some suspicious people picking them... The picker's old VW vans were decorated just like that Lambo. 'wonder what's going on here...Dude?

aks801 01-25-2008 10:02 PM

I think it looks fantastic! Interesting exercise.

That being said, if I had a lambo it would be yellow, no way would I have that done!
