You see a lot of stuff here in Florida/Georgia driving up US 1 that was abandoned when I-95 got built in the early 70's. A1A like route 66 is pretty diced up now. I'm not sure we even have a gas station with a garage anymore, they're all zippy marts now.
Perhaps 20yrs from now some genius will open a "full service" station like the new burger hop joints we now have. (complete with girls on roller skates!)
