Default Cmc

I purchased a Cmc cobra which was built in 1992. The previous owner had the car for 12 years and really knew nothing about the car only that it was built by CMC in Florida. The features are ford 302 , coil over suspention , curry 9 inch rear end , borgwarner 5 speed top loader . The frame appears the usual heavy duty cobra style .Over all the car is in great shape and has very low milage for its age.
Can anyone out there tell something about that company? I have talked to street beasts but they had little to offer since the car was too old for them to give much info.Thank you in advance for any info you can give me.

CMC was the previous company that is now Street Beasts. There is plenty of bad talk on CC about CMC. The main problem was CMC was not delivering what people paid for.

Don't worry about the past, just put in some gas and put the pedal to the metal.

The company was also known as Fiber-fab.Both were sued out of existance.Beware of any company doing business out of Florida.

My son and I also purchased a half completed CMC this past fall. We figured we could complete the assembly by this spring but we keep adding more upgrades. This is a fun project so far. The CMC does not seem to be the best of the kits ever built but it was in my price range and does seem to be strong enough.
Does anybody have any build photos of their CMC posted on the web? I'd love to stare at them for some ideas.
