Default Pre - 1989 AC Cobra replica's

Hi everyone - my first post here.

Because of importation and design rules in Australia i can only run a 427 side oiler on petrol if it was licenced before the first of January 1989.

In the next couple of months after i of load my current muscle car i will be purchasing a pre 1989 Cobra replica with a 427 side oiler.

I only know of the Contemporary Cobra being built before 1989 which from what i can gather is a very good reproduction.

What other very good reproduction Cobra's were made prior to 1989.

By the way great site.

Butler, Contemporary, ERA, Unique, Everett Morrison just to name a few all were around prior to 1989.

Our Feds need proof of registration before 1989.

Cobra's titled as 1966 are not acceptable to the Aussie Fed monsters.

Get it wrong and they crush the car when it arrives.

Many states will jump all over any title from Alabama as they are well known for producing titles with no documentation.

Texas will not accept a title from Broadway title. Then again, Broadway title will no longer do titles for Cobras.

Enough said.
