Geez, you must have taped a whole roll of pennies on the pickup arm to keep it from skipping...:D
I figured at some point I might get a set of seats with the speakers in the headrest and install some type of MP3 player. I can imagine CDs would be a PIA to deal with. Maybe some of the marine stuff would be better suited to the harsh Cobra enviroment. |

... and that was after using your finger to make the turntable go backwards so you could listen for the hidden messages (and destroying your needle at that same time). I always tried to do that on a friend's turntable.:LOL::LOL::LOL: |

Bought mine as a roller that the previous owner spent over $3,500 on a stereo system on. Has a fully discrete Pioneer with a small console I hide under the dash, and a remote to operate it with. Also has a 6 disk CD player in the trunk. I haven't used it after trying it at 3600 rpms on the freeway and couldn't hear a thing out of the large speakers behind my head. Nothing but sidepipes....much better sound anyway.
If I could figure out how to disconnect it all and leave the alarm system in, I'd do it. The whole setup occupies the space under the rear deck where I could have installed a roll bar.
Oh well.

The wife and I each have our own ipods and listen to whatever we want during a cruise.
But, nothing drowns out the sidepipes.
The music is just background.

I have never once wished I had a radio in my car, but that's just me.

On the same note, the car is so loud I had ringing in my ears especially the left one after driveing over 1 hour. I started using the foam ear plugs to prevent any damage. I have only had my car for a few months, I cant imagine the ear problems after years.
Unless the radio has sub titles, I imagine it would be a waste.

Yes I have a radio cd combo and is nice around town also for listening at
