I think the overriding factor is that Brooklands may be the 'spiritual' continuation of AC, having much of the equipment from Thames Ditton, plus some of the men who used that equipment there.
I do wish them, and the Waco 'twin' every, and continued, success; beit with or without the association of Acedes Holdings.:) |
I wish Brooklands Motor Company every success with the new AC venture.

Jamo: Do you think the folks in Michigan are insulated from CS's legal eagles. Or could this be another licensing opportunity?

AC OFF AGAIN " AC Cars has hit troubles again and ceased production of Cobra replicas at its factory in Malta after making only a handfuln of cars during the past few years. According to reports in the Maltese press, AC has failed to pay back a $900,000 loan from the Maltese government , despite court actions to force payment, AC and its South African owner, Al Lubinsky, also, have been linked to two other ventures that appear stalled. In the first, AC had planned to open a production plant in Bridgeport CT, to make a new range of V8 powered roadsters and coupes. The second venture was to restart production of the Smart roadster in Britain. Lubinsky had agreed to license the AC Ace name to the car's maker " |

We'll apparently nothing will stop AC from continual vampire-like resurection.
England to England to Connecticut, oh not Connecticut to Malta, oh not so Malta, to the new facility in Texas by the guy who Shel is suing for some big bucks as read in another thread? AC making a "Smart Car"? Is there an Oxymoron there? AC appears to be gone as we all remember it. R I P |
