but but but it's signed !!!! :p

trs900 03-23-2008 08:36 AM

I almost laughed out loud when I saw the price, the engine is nothing special and the fans in front look funky at best.

Damn signature made the price go up $60k, I am going to get mine signed.

Bill Wells 03-23-2008 08:56 AM

a unique and very nice car , and assuredly alot of money went into it .

but , it is not the first one to have a paxton under the hood .

and - ah, the price : there are dreamers and there are hallucinators and there are ...

this will be a hard sell . Best of luck to them . Bill

I think a car that is NOT signed by CS is rarer.
Anyway, I do not see any extra value in the dash being signed as the
signature is not rare.

Same guy must be selling the $250k CSX4000 car! It is nice to dream isn't it? :)

Cashburn 03-23-2008 09:28 AM

A Jack Roush sig... but no Jack Roush parts?

SPF2245 03-23-2008 09:41 AM

I'm proud of my "Roush" motor and all...but there is NO WAY I'm going to have Jack sign the paint. Sorry, I don't get what this guy was thinking. Sign the air cleaner...cool, sign the firewall...cool, sign the fender...stupid. But that's just my opinion.

NOW, if Jessica Alba wanted to sign the paint...well that would be ok ;-)

stush 03-23-2008 09:42 AM

Nicely photographed. Can't imagine that someone looking for an SPF would even spend half that. For a third of the buy it now price could pick one up off cobra country.

Stu

Bill Wells 03-23-2008 09:42 AM

From a previous eBay listing I believe the 408 stroker motor was a Jack Roush build . Bill

fastraxsg 03-23-2008 09:52 AM

One thing I will never quite understand....why is the starting bid at $10,000 when you have to pay $ 139,000 for a buy it now? Gee, wonder what the reserve is? and, where are all the bidders?

Roscoe 03-23-2008 10:26 AM

$ 139,000.00 (and low monthly payments)

Roscoe

Wheels427 03-23-2008 10:42 AM

In this economy they will be lucky to get $60,000 and buff that Rousch off the paint!

lineslinger 03-23-2008 11:09 AM

Being sold by a used car dealer who must have found a crack pipe in the trunk considering his asking price..........

hi-tech cobra 03-23-2008 11:15 AM

2 reasons:
1. Seller hopes the deflated dollar will make this car attractive to an overseas buyer, or

2. They smoked some bad weed.

CHANMADD 03-23-2008 11:21 AM

Look at xlr80r's car. http://www.cobracountry.com/cobra4sa...kham/home.html

100 times better car for over $50K less. Only a complete idiot would consider the one on E-Bay.

Excaliber 03-23-2008 12:27 PM

jwd, there counting on that fact! They only need one 'complete idiot' to pull this off. :D

And trust me, there are a lot of "complete idiots" out there. People still bite into the Nigerian scams. Someone bet on Mount St. Marys to beat North Carolina too. **)
