Well, topside we don't drink Budweiser or Coors, contrary to popular belief.
My votes:
Hopland Brewing Company Red Tale Ale
Anchor Steam
Gordon Biersch

Hmmmmmmmmm...maybe no one IN Australia drinks Fosters, but some of your lads consumed a whole bunch of it one night in Steamboat Springs, CO at the motorcycle races. Zaniest bunch I ever drank with!

I didn't think Aussies drank at all. I thought they all guzzled their beer.

If your only back 40 years, you're still wet behind the ears.
I'm originally from Wisconsin, and it was legal to drink beer at 18 back in the fifties and sixties. We drank our share of PBR back then - just trying to keep Auggie Pabst in cars Even helped getting our dates alittle at ease shall we say

Now on Medicare and loving it!

I lived there around that time too, Terry.
I lived in Racine County which had a 21 age limit for beer - so we had to drive to Kenosha County to be able to drink in the bars. Made sense to us.
Pabst was definitely the beer of choice!
