Default Damn are these cars fast

I got my SPF at the end of the year and havnt driven it much. Went out for a long ride this past Saturday. An 87 porche turbo wanted to give it a go on the highway.....It all started at the bottom of 3rd and went to the top of 4th before we caught up to traffic. The rear view mirror is useless on accelleration from the vibrations. When I let off the gas Bam there he was right where he belonged.....behind me.

It was the first real test for the 460! I bumped into the guy the next day at the auto parts store. His car wasnt stock, he had a larger turbo, some high tech intercooler and new fuel injection system. He couldnt believe how fast I accellerated. He looked over the beast for a while then drove his little VW, I mean porche back home.

What a rush!

Wait 'til you have to clean off the driver's seat due to a millisecond loss of traction due to a small dip, bump or a little patch of sand or dirt on the road, or even letting out the clutch a little too fast....

Then you get what's called a "snap spin".

It happens even faster and can result in, well, you figger it out...

Not a wet blanket warning, just be double extra careful with it or you'll end up as the subject of yet another long, sad thread here.

Be safe,

Tom
