Beautiful car. Congratulations.

thorconstr 05-05-2008 05:06 PM

I advertised mine with the Kirkham dealer in Germany. The Euro is real strong against the dollar and makes toy buying easier to explain to the wife I guess. The guy that bought mine also bought one in Utah and is leaving it there to race and is shipping mine to Germany as a driver. Must be nice! $207.5k worth of cars for $131,330 Euros!

thorconstr 05-05-2008 05:08 PM

If your going to advertise in Europe, bring the price up closer to $100k

RodKnock 05-05-2008 05:09 PM

Somone on another thread said that recent ones were selling in the $65,000-$85,000 range, so yours must have been superb. ENTDOC's sold for around $84K-$85K and that was real nice too.

thorconstr 05-05-2008 05:19 PM

I think you guys are asking too little for your cars. Granted, in the USA we are in a bit of a slump, but Europe isn't! The Kirkham's and Keith have their cars in the $108K area, and they WILL sell for over $105K. Your builds are all nice. Hell I would have set mine on fire in the middle of the street before selling it for under a $100K!

bnewell 05-05-2008 05:25 PM

Okay............so what is my car really worth to the right buyer???

Apparently not worth the $83.5K that I have had it listed for.

N2VENOM 05-05-2008 05:28 PM

I think that was a fair price. If I ever have to sell, I hope I can get the 100K plus. :JEKYLHYDE

thorconstr 05-05-2008 05:37 PM

Bnewell, Send me all the info on your car, I'm going to be talking to some people in Europe in the next couple of days. What year is it titled as? Send the info to thormotorsports1@msn.com
Heck, anyone that's trying to sell a Kirkham, send me your info. I'm also looking for a ERA FIA small block car in the 35 to 40K range. Thanks, Al

bnewell 05-05-2008 05:46 PM

Will do Al.......thanks!!

Jamo 05-05-2008 05:57 PM

Me thinks Al is right. Some CSXs have been sold at higher prices over there as well. Not unlike the Japanese during the late 80s. Let the dollar's decline work for you.

I'm gonna sell mine in Armenia...I can get a whole freeking herd of sheep for it.

thorconstr 05-05-2008 05:59 PM

Price hip boots first!
