blondes

The blonde went to the local body shop for a paint job on her car. The owner told her that some body work would be needed for the dents in the car. The blonde said she really didn't have the money for that. The body shop owner said to take the car home, park it in the driveway until it cooled down, then blow in the tailpipe as hard as she could and the dents would pop out! She was in the driveway blowing in the tailpipe when a blonde friend came over. The friend asked what she was doing, she exlained that she was blowing the dents out. The friend said "boy are you stupid, you have to shut the windows"!

I say "I got a really good deal on THIS COBRA, but to replace this Cobra, it would cost about $50,000 to $60,000."

"How much? Well, I bought this with my 401K. It's a good thing my 401K was $401K.. "

When asked recently about the cost of my 289 FIA replica, I had the benefit of knowing that 1 of 6 original 289 FIA's was for sale at Canepa right in Scotts Valley for $6M. I pointed out that the original was for sale for $6M, and then said, "That was outside of my budget, so I bought this one instead."

The non-answer answer.

How much did it cost?

I don't know, I stole it.
Suppose I should ask first next time?

A blonde friend of mine years ago asked me, " how they made those little cardboard casings which contained those two little peanuts"? I just smiled and said it's done with a machine.
She then said, "I guess they must have a lot of those machines because the peanuts are sometimes in single or even tripple casings".

I just looked at her husband and said...Rich, explain this one OK. Very true story and she was a blonde.

Oh Ya! the cost of your car...I just say, Way too much!

A blonde calls the fire department and screams "My house is burning, my house is burning! YOU GOTTA HELP ME!!" The dispatcher says "Hey, hey, hey, hold on lady, first you gotta tell us how to get to your house." To which she replies, "Duh!!! In the big red truck...."

My standard answer when people ask how much is "Too much."

Blonde Joke

Blonde Airline Passenger

THE PLANE IS ON ITS WAY TO HOUSTON WHEN A BLONDE IN ECONOMY CLASS GETS UP AND MOVES TO THE FIRST CLASS SECTION AND SITS DOWN. THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT WATCHES HER DO THIS AND ASKS TO SEE HER TICKET.

SHE THEN TELLS THE BLONDE THAT SHE PAID FOR ECONOMY CLASS AND THAT SHE WILL HAVE TO SIT IN THE BACK.

THE BLONDE REPLIES, "I'M BLOND, I'M BEAUTIFUL, I'M GOING TO HOUSTON AND I'M STAYING RIGHT HERE."

THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT GOES INTO THE COCKPIT AND TELLS THE PILOT AND THE CO-PILOT THAT THERE IS A BLONDE SITTING IN FIRST CLASS THAT BELONGS IN ECONOMY AND WON'T MOVE BACK TO HER SEAT.

THE CO-PILOT GOES BACK TO THE BLONDE AND TRIES TO EXPLAIN THAT BECAUSE SHE ONLY PAID FOR ECONOMY SHE WILL HAVE TO LEAVE AND RETURN TO HER SEAT.

THE BLONDE REPLIES, "I'M BLONDE, I'M BEAUTIFUL, I'M GOING TO HOUSTON AND I'M STAYING RIGHT HERE."

THE CO-PILOT TELLS THE PILOT THAT HE PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE THE POLICE WAITING WHEN THEY LAND TO ARREST THIS BLONDE WOMAN WHO WON'T LISTEN TO REASON.

THE PILOT SAYS, "YOU SAY SHE IS A BLONDE? I'LL HANDLE THIS. I'M MARRIED TO A BLONDE. I SPEAK BLONDE." HE GOES BACK TO THE BLONDE AND WHISPERS IN HER EAR, AND SHE SAYS, "OH, I'M SORRY." SHE GETS UP AND GOES BACK TO HER SEAT IN ECONOMY.

THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT AND CO-PILOT ARE AMAZED AND ASKED HIM WHAT HE SAID TO MAKE HER MOVE WITHOUT ANY FUSS.

I TOLD HER, "FIRST CLASS ISN'T GOING TO HOUSTON ......."

I just picked up my TKO about 2 weeks ago. W calls me while I am picking it up (30 minute road trip accross the border) Nice pleasant little chat.

I get home at dinner we chat about the other woman (the car) and how much the transmission cost. I say $600. She says really? Wait a minute, I'm not stupid, I KNOW a transmission is more money than that.
I say yeah, it was 1500.

She says, I KNEW IT!

BlueRooster 07-07-2009 08:43 PM

I'll sell it to you for 50,000

PANAVIA 07-07-2009 11:02 PM

How much does it cost mister ; I always tell people;

"it was Cheaper than a Psychiatrist. "

Ozgur_Tan 07-08-2009 02:28 AM

"blood, sweat and tears" is my answer for scratch built 289

Ron61 07-08-2009 04:21 AM

I just always told them I really had no idea because if I had kept records of all of my time and money spent I would never have finished the car. They would normally just look at it and not ask any more questions about costs.

I have been noted to say, "priceless."

I hate the "is it real" question that I get about a quarter of the time.

PatBuckley 07-08-2009 07:13 AM

Perhaps the "how much did it cost" question is a slightly more polite way of asking "is it real"?

I don't feel the need to answer every question - sometimes a smile is all I give back.
