So you think you know engines ???

Found this site that tests your IQ on identifying different engine types. I was able to get maybe half of them. How'd you do ??

BDR561 05-26-2008 08:42 PM

I missed 2 also...

Sharroll Celby 05-26-2008 08:46 PM

I "lucky-guessed" my way to missing two as well!

Barnsnake 05-26-2008 09:38 PM

I got them all right, but the Olds 455 and the Chrysler 360 I didn't really recognize and guessed right based on their alternators.

BDR561 05-26-2008 09:43 PM

The air cleaner gave the olds away immediately

767Jockey 05-26-2008 10:24 PM

Missed two as well.

csx wnab 05-26-2008 10:37 PM

you guys that missed one or more are lame...................100% here. how could you miss that? it was so easy.

Power Surge 05-26-2008 10:48 PM

Missed two here also, then again I don't claim to be an expert on non-Fords.

And for a test that had plenty of Fords in the answers, it didn't have crap for Fords AS the answers.

I am sure a pic of a 427 SOHC would have tripped up a lot of non-Ford players.

i wana go fast 05-26-2008 10:55 PM

Missed 2. Never was much of a Mopar fan.

jmarsey 05-26-2008 11:27 PM

100% but got lucky on the old early model hemi. cool seeing all those old mills. Multiple choice made it too easy.

Rick Parker 05-27-2008 12:13 AM

100% right. Gray hair definately helped.

Kzof 05-27-2008 12:34 AM

Missed 3, 1 dumb mistake, should have been 2.

brobehr 05-27-2008 12:50 AM

Michael P. Wole 05-27-2008 08:30 AM

Way too easy...helps to have had at least 90% of them over the years...never had any of the MoPar's

Jerry Clayton 05-27-2008 09:45 AM

I never had a 348 or 409 but had worked on them---most of the others I have been around a lot---

Madmiles442 05-27-2008 10:01 AM

12 out of 18. 2 of them were dumb mistakes.
Had no clue of the others....

lovehamr 05-27-2008 10:03 AM
