My wiper system is Lucas. I don't remember the cost.
If I drew you a diagram you would think I was pulling your leg. I think Rube Goldberg got his original idea from Lucas wipers. Who would think the key installation tools for wipers would be a tubing cutter and a flaring tool.
They work fine. Two speeds and park correctly every time.

FinishLine has a complete kit. Asmentioned you need to use three sections of tubing, (I use aluminum fuel line, easy to flare, bend and install. But I have no Idea how the D&D systmen is set up? Maybe get you started.

I used a 3 blade system from an MG I got from a junk yard and I bought a switch from Finish Line. The price was $75 and included everything except the switch, I modified it to 2 blades with tubing and it works fine. Since most Cobras have no top running in the rain is usually not done but if you drive a lot you will get caught in the rain. Most states do require wipers even though most Cobras I have seen seem to run without them. The switch from Finish Line is $24 and blades are $18, but with the wiper motor at $125 my cost of $75 plus a switch and blades cost wise is the best way to go.

Dan,
Has your car EVER seen rain?
We know there's enough wax on it, so the water would just roll off!

Rain X
After many years of road racing the best performance wiper system is made by rain x. It works and requires little expense. Good luck!

Terry,
I have been caught in the rain many times and my car has never been waxed in all the years I have had it.

I drive in the ran.
I have the vintage set up like the one from Finishline.
I also have a top and a heater/defroster.
Top leaks but it is vintage style as well.
This is what the rainX was doing. I like the wipers better.
