Got the bug, kinda of a morph, but on target as it relates to the question the thread asks.
A Shelby MSO indicating 1965 is correct and logical, that IS the 'model' of the car in question. Many states, including Hawaii, recognize that is an appropriate way to list the car as to what it is. Year of BUILD or 'First Sold' is another matter, thats where you have to be careful to avoid a fraud issue. While my Hawaii title says MODEL: "1965 Cobra" it also notes the car is a 'Street Rod', Hawaii's way of saying 'SPCN'.
