Default Software Issue - My Computer or CC?

When I visit the CC site, I get logged on automatically. Then I click on New Posts and review the list. After going thru the list and making any comments, I click on the "Mark Forums Read" under the Quick Links.

Everything OK so far.

But if there is a lot of new posts (3 or more pages), sometimes I close my browser before I finish reading all of the threads. I do NOT click on the "Mark Forums Read" link. Yesterday, I did that twice. But when I came back to CC, and clicked on New Posts, it did NOT include the New Posts that were listed on my prior visit to the site. To view all of the new posts I had to click on the "Today's Posts".

Is that normal? If it's not normal, is it a CC software issue or my computer.

Suggestion - I'm sure that a lot of users (including me) would like to be able to do a "Mark Post Read" command on individual posts, rather than just a Mark All Forums Read".

It is indeed tragic when Old Age and Memory go separate ways.

Sorry to hear about your medical problems, Fred.

Alzheimer's is really not that bad. You get to meet new people every day! Kiss the Ho's for me.

Warren,

Sorry to hear about your diminished capacity so early in life. It must be terrible to be so young and have those problems.

I am not sure, but I have seen that happen and I just figured it was the fact that once I had read a post, it is no longer new to me. Anyway we do things differently as I have my favorite list set to send me straight to the forum page and I can REMEMBER what I have read and haven't.

Ron

In the words of that famous philosopher, Jamo the First ....

BITE ME

I'm waiting for an intelligent reply from Ron (CW) or Brent.

I should also add a comment that even if I did not read a post, when I close out of the CC site and go back in, those unread threads are also not included on "New Posts".
