				 Cobra on Pinks Speed TV?
I was flipping channels on Tuesday night and just caught the last little bit of Pinks on Speed TV.A Cobra was on the track when it looked like the engine blew, but the commnetator said it was the breather I think
Anybody see this and knows what happened?

Was that the 1 hour episode when they compete for 10K? or a regular 30 min show that featured just 2 cars?

I watched an episode last night on Speed and they couldn't decide if one bike left early or not so they had to re-run that race. It shows how stupid it is to have some guy in the middle of the track waving his arms up and down instead of using a "tree".
The concept of the show is good but the negotiations and all the arguments are dumb.

Wayne | I agree. The guy on the starting line is an idiot. The negotiations and arguments are all scripted. I buddy of mine went to a taping and they were all laughing and joking when the camera wasn't on. The show is a total farse. |

I don't know what episode it was.Like I said, I was just flipping channels and caught the very end of the drag showing the rear end of what appeared to be a Cobra blowing it's engine however someone said it was the breather.
When I managed to get back to the channel, it was over.
I agree the negogations and arm waving is dumb.

If it was the one hour 10K show, I have seen it and there isn't much air time for the Cobra. I believe they actually had several try out. If it is a seperate 30 min show, I haven'r seen it and would like to.
I too don't care for the arm drop start and the pointless negotiations....

I agree WTM. They spend 59 1/2 minutes agruing and complaining and only 30 seconds racing. |

He was the guy driving the Chevelle with the jacked up back end bragging that he ran 11's. We'd talk him into giving us a one car lead "flying at him" (a jack rabbit start is all you need to really clean someone's clock in a street race). And then we'd take his money and all the way back to the drive-in until another sucker like him came along.
I had a really nice '70 1/2 Z-28 Camaro because of guys like him. And it only ran mid 13's...

That wasn't a Cobra - it was some sort of Lister copy. |

I love to watch street cars drag race but the host guy is such a brainless egomaniac.
Notice when he fell off of the borrowed motorcycle in shame he returns out of the emergency room trailer with his shirt off as to compensate for his embarrasing skit. Macho macho macho man!! As irratting as he is that is really funny!
I think the show pass time is usally very entertaining. Little more knowledge on the cars at least and no conflict BS.

				 You missed the best show
twm442 Warren You missed the show where MR. Smart@$$ jumps on a crotch rocket with no helmet and whips out. He didn't break anything, ( that was good) but had a large eatting of HUMBLE PIE for being stupid. As far as the racing, it's a bracket race where someone is going to get 10K in cash. That covers some tires and racing gas. One of these days, Mr. Christen is going to be a road pizza when a wheelie car breaks and hits him on leaving. I hope not to see it, but the laws of average are coming. How's the fishing?? Rick L. |
