Did you catch the new Shelby magazine.

Man, I did and it is really a nice mag. All colored pictures. Very slick.... But I gotta ask one question... who the hell is the editor. http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...a/CIMG1840.jpg You gotta laugh at this picture. Amy, what have you got to say for yourself.:eek::LOL: GinUWhine.... lets see dual roll bars, perkey butt, dropped down gas tank, Could it be....Say it ain't so !!!!! Wonder if they will have a magazine recall. |
Zoom in Al; I'm pretty sure that is the numeral "5" on the steering wheel center.
Hmmm...? Jeff |
I love the original seats and wheels!
Bob |
Don't forget the absolutely butt ugly exterior trunk hinges.
I guess it all depends upon Carroll's definition of "genuine". If it ain't genuine, sue the ba$tard$. |
But Warren... wonder if its got a round tube frame, unlike some of those "other" brands.
|
Yeah, I picked up the magazine. It's pretty cool, except for that gennie cobra!
|
The editor is probably some young guy just into Shelby Mustangs. Sort of like when you see an online poll for the best running back of all time and you don't see Red Grange or Jimmy Brown even mentioned because the average voter is 12 years old.
Maybe they should use Evan as their expert proofreader on real Cobras. |
Doh!
Oh my gosh, that's funny!
well... in fact, maybe it's true - it is nothing like a genuine Cobra. |
A Genuine Factory Five!! Not one of those other replicas....
|
At least Team Shelby has a yearly magazine included with the membership.
No magazine from SAAC this year. What did I get for my $50 from SAAC in 2008? MM |

How much is Cobra related and how much has to do with the current Mustangs crop?
|
All joking aside.. it is a great mag.. It does have a lot of the new Mustang stuff, but some GT350 stories, a big SuperSnake story and just a bunch of shiney pictures.. its worth the 7 bucks.

There; fixed it for you. BTW, I bought the mag and it is a very slick piece with lots of great pics, though it is quite the Carroll leg humpfest. Steve |
The magazine is VERY nice and fun to read. Great pics too.

Big Whoop! It's a great mag. for the bathroom reading basket. It will help educate those sitting on the pot about some of the Shelby history and operations.
As for the picture of the geniune Cobra, it is a genuine FFR Cobra..but is it real?...duh..Yes. It's well worth the cost of the book and it has great pictures. Old Bill |
Well....technically, there are no "REAL" FFR "Cobras". There are REAL FFR replicas of Cobras.
TEAM Shelby makes clear their stance on this (an always favorite subject here). There stance is the same as SAAC's Likely the pic of the FFR on the cover was an editorial oversight. Thanks. I'm sure this helps. Flame on! |
