Hey guys, thanks for all the comments and feedback. I have been viewing this periodically since I posted, though my attention was mostly on the surgery and recovery.

Health update: I had two separate procedures and a third procedure as part of the second. My situation deteriorated a bit prior to the surgery as I couldn't eat anything without a severe attack. Even drinking water made me uncomfortable. Due to this, I ate less than a thousand calories last week through Friday. First procedure was to remove my gallbladder Friday morning, but they found that the common bile duct shared with the liver and pancreas was blocked by a stone. This forced them to keep me under for another procedure by a different surgeon. This is called an ERCP (don't know what that stands for), but they went down my throat with tools and camera to cut a particular sphincter and physically remove the stone that was caught there. Essentially my liver was all backed up and I was a bit jaundiced, etc. While in there, they noticed a polyp and biopsied it. << Can't wait for the wonderful news there.

Anyways, I am home now and recovering nicely. I have had healthy and full meals, provided by my doctor at home (wife), and while she doesn't look quite like the picture above, she's my little hottie. Pain is slowly subsiding and I'm just happy to be putting down the food. I'm down to 184....Some of you might remember when I started losing weight, I was 340....Back to lifting weights and working out hopefully next week, because the 7lbs I lost last week seem more like muscle than fat. Not eating sucks!

Anyways, thanks for all the comments and I look forward to another 10 and hopefully more!

Brent,

Happy to hear that you are home and it is a good thing that you had the surgery done now. Don't rush the working out as you have to get some meat back on the bones. Take care and the best of everything for you.

Ron

Brent:
thank you very much for all your hard work and dedication. If it wasn't for this site and the great people here, I would never have had the guts to take on a build.

Me and my family thank you for helping us put a dream together.

Brent,
It has been a while.....

First of all, GET THE HELL OUT OF THE HOSPITAL!! And stay healthy.
I hadn't heard about you buying a FAKE Cobra with a FAKE lottery ticket before. That was funny.
If a fake ticket gets you a fake Cobra, does that mean Evan won the REAL Lottery?Just curious.

Thanks for the kind words regarding my involvement in the early days of Club Cobra.I should be thanking you for giving me a chance to meet ALL my current friends. Almost all of them are people I met here on Club Cobra.

I enjoyed my days as one of your moderators, and I know for a fact I was better at it than that other Armenian guy.

I see that you have made just about every notable Cobra event in the last few years except for one. You haven't lived until you have joined us in one of our Annual Gasholes Trips. When you do, THEN you will have something to talk about. Until then, you are just an amateur traveller.

GET WELL!

TURK
