Uh-oh... that sounds like fightin' language:eek:!
;) |
Just as long as your not talking chevy BB or SB:LOL:
|
Sure it is. We'll wait for you big block guys to catch up after the twisty parts. ;)
|
Sure it's ok. Lot's of small blocks can run circles around the big blocks but some can't. Besides we're all in the same fraternity.

BB's are naturally Big!, and able to get the job done with ease the first time, and will always leave the particpants satisfied.
Now, the SB's are naturally weak and don't always satisfy, they need to be built up or as they say "need male enhancement" to perform like the BB's . Now don't get your panties in a wod here, SB's do enjoy the trip or build up to bigger and better performances, where on the other hand, the BB's can go off too quickly sometimes and break parts. Now it's all good, it just depends on what is important to you. Bill |
I enjoy them both. My favorite engine is the FE but there's just something about taking a small block & have it make big power & smoke some of the big block guys. I also enjoy the brute force of a stroked beast FE. I guess I'm just addicted to both!
|
I have had both, a 351 stroked to 418 and every FE engine that Ford made at one time or another. Right now I have the 428 Scj bored .065 that came in my 69 Cobra. Nothing beats the rumble of the big block, but the small block would run circles around this one. Of course there is the weight differential to factor in too. But for a Cobra Replica, I would prefer the stroked small block. Just my humble opinion.

Big Block
I'm with Ron
I like to take a small block, stroke it and see if I can keep up with the Big Boys :) Dwight |
My experience with BBs is I'm always waiting for them - usually at a gas station. The other thing I notice is the BB guys prefer to park them while the SB guys like to drive them.

:)
Bob, You sure got the gas part correct. When I drive the 69 I have to fill up and then stop again at the last pump on the island to top off before leaving the station. The best I ever got with this monster was just 11.7 per gallon. Get on it and the gas gage goes down faster than the speedometer and tach go up. But it is still fun to drive sometimes. I just wish I had my Coupe back with the 408 Stroker. Ron :o |
Just don't mix the red and the blue ones

I was just bored when I started this. We r all sick at my house. Just remember that we all cant fit on the BIG bus.. If we were all equal life would be pretty boring. Just think of all the fun had on these type of threads.
We thank you little guys for being big enough to take the abuse... |
