What part of the country are you in? There are Goodyear Racing tire dealers all over the place. Shelby himself, Roger Krause, Competition Tire, Penske East, etc, etc.

Maybe a dumb question, but if you don't know, you just don't know. Do the billboards require tubes?

Remember, those sticky treads will pick up a lot of debris and fling it right into the underside of your fenders.

Bought mine from Roger Krause Racing.
1) No tubes needed with ally wheels. If you are running older mag wheels a tube would help daily upkeep as older mag does allow air to pass however slowly.
2) They do throw rocks, fine for the purist however if you are a fanatic about paint you may want to rethink options.
3) If you are a purist RKR now offers the old Dunlop tires. (My preference )
RKR was a pleasure to deal with.

Boy, doing this to a MT drag radial sidewall would either turn out looking really, really cool or really, really lame.
Anyone else want to go first?

No freakin' way! Don't have $80 lying around for stencils (though it would be considerably cheaper than the corresponding divorce) and MTs have this goofy ribbed style lettering...it would look like shiat up close (like at C&C or any other car gathering). No need to be a poser...I'll get the real deal next time around. Not that driving a replica is being a poser or anything... LOL!

No shame in MT's. They ride a lot better than those Gy's. I can tell you 1st hand. I saw tires drive by at a stop light just the other day that were spray painted with a stencil, but you could see the raised letters did not match. I wonder if that's what they did.

What I meant was they were sprayed over a different tire brand, Like Goodyear sprayed over a MT.

I've been looking for stencils. Cool! Fake car, fake tires, who cares. I've never run the GY billboards but been around long enough to know that they'll suck for everyday driving. If it's a trailer queen, you'll love em.
