Default Let me see your Ferrules in the door

The body shop I am looking to go with is asking if the ferrules are flush with the door or recessed.

I dont recall so if someone can please post a pic I could let him know.

No, they're just jammed in the hole and held in with retaining rings. Here's a shot of mine:

Phil, I just posted a couple of shots in my gallery showing the ferrule from the inside of the car - you can see the top of it above the door and the bottom post with the lock ring on it. Rick

Mine are flush with the body and epoxied in. I like the ones that you guys have better. A nice cleaner look.

Mine are just pressed in. They are a tight fit but I took them out and put them back in when I painted the car.
