Default Wonder if anybody has built a....

replica of 1961 AC Ace 2.6 (Zephyr)?

I know, I know no V-8 rumble

Something about the clean classic British lines.

Something to think about

Pat

I can build you one. I have a Slab body that fits an F5 frame, I can smooth the wheel opening lips off and presto AC Zephyr. I can do a "mustash" car too.

Interesting!
What's the wheelbase? Looks longer than the Cobra.

Its basically the same as a mk1 cobra 260, but with the Ford 2.6 straight six engine. The wheelbase is correct at 90inch. The Ace 2.6 as it was called did not have the moustach, that was a feature of the AC and Bristol engined Aces and Accea.

I think Hawk in the UK offers something like this. Importing would probably be an issue though.

Shouldn't be any worse than importing a Superformance from South Africa.
