Default Passed state inspection

Hello, the car passed state inspection with only one loose bolt on a heim joint. I did all the paper work and paid the sales tax now it will take a couple weeks to get a title so I can get a plate and drive. I hope to have the plate in time for the shelby show in hershey.

The mechanic thought the clecos in the hood scoop was a unique touch, I need to get them replaced.
later, karl

Cobra Make, Engine: Don't think I'll be getting a Cobra for a long time... Do have '94 RX-7 R2.

Did you see MrMustang wants to have a Cobra breakfast in Douglassville on Sunday the 19th? But that is a little over a week away so I doubt you'll have plate yet.

Default almost done

Yes, I did see the breakfeast that Bill posted, we are in church sunday morning and will not have a title & license by next sunday.

thanks for the comments, I had a lot of help building this car. The guys at the CNC machine shop (EGW) made parts, and Dave at the regular machine shop help me with brackets & many other parts, Nick at Acton custom made me a big stack of parts and pcs., my Dad flew in from Atlanta several times to help with final assembly.

Default Scratch built 427 project

Hello, UPDATE: The Cobra has passed state inspection, the title has arrived and the license plate is here. All of the official stuff is finished and the car has been on the road for a week. It runs and handles great, there was a small problem with a holley carb that was rebuilt at Pony Carbs, the needles were sticking in the seats and producing a nasty "turbo lag" situation. We changed the needles and it is almost perfect.

It will go in for a coat of paint over the winter break.

new photos & uptdates after a few hundred more miles.

regards, karl
