New Owner!!!!!
So I just pulled the trigger on a deal that I found on a semi-finished Streetbeast kit. I've been tossing it around, but finally forced myself to make a decision. I haven't gotten all the details worked out yet, but I just verbally committed to it
I have some big plans for the completion of the car. Can't wait to get it here and get started. Should make a nice little cousin to the Chevelle. The hardest part is the waiting, right guys?
So I just figured I'd share my excitement with some people whod understand.

The hard part will be deciding what engine, transmission, etc. and getting it from "semi-finished" to finished.
I have had my SB for a year and a half and all I have done so far is making it a rolling chassis. I just haven't had time to work with it.
Good Luck!

Thanks guys. No pics yet. I'm buying the kit sight unseen (although I've been talking to the guy for well over 3 weeks). He should be sending me some in the next few days.
52Chevy, how do you like your SB? I can't wait to start the work on her. Its coming as a rolling chassis, but I'm going to tear it all back down, make sure it's all done right and probably change a few things, then put it back together.
And the motor/trans combo is the easy part. It's going to have either a 427 or 454" Big Block Chevy with a procharger just for giggles . I know, I know...I have them laying around the yard anyways. Plus, the car has the motor mounts for a Chevy mill so it works out. Going to get, most likely, a TKO-600 6 speed and it has the 9" rear already.

Have you done a search on Street Beasts ? Buyer beware, hope it was a killer deal. Make sure all the parts are there, just an FYI

if you are dealing with a private owner of this partialy finished kit check to make sure all parts are present,if you are dealing with the manufacturer of the kit i have heard that story before about a partialy finished kit for a reduced price BEWARE i know a guy who waited 4 mounths and all he got was excuses about how they were so busy,IF you havent given them a deposit yet try contacting thunder chassic in Colorado, they put out a dead on copy of the Midstates car and they are better than any thing else on the market

I have done a search on SB's, and most of what I read is negative towards the company itself. The car does have all the parts with it (I have verified that). And the deal was good enough that I would have been stupid if i hadn't taken it.
