Hey Todd. How are ya? I was out for a while too. Did about thirty five miles. It was a little chilly, but good to get out for a drive. Was out last weekend too. Hope to see ya soon.

What's Spring?

I drove back home from Portland Oregon this morning and 75% of the trip was in snow and heavy snow.

Really strange for us to get as much snow as we have received this year, and it's almost unheard of this late in the year.

70 degrees, fired up the lawn mower, weed eater, and hedge trimmer. It felt good to get outside and spruce up the yard a little. Then peeled the cover off the car and filled the Webers with a little go juce and lit a fire, life is good!

Three hour drive thru South Boston on St Patties Day. Gave rides to about 6 really good looking girls. No back seat in a Cobra

Harold: "Margret, I'm becoming a bit concerned about the red welts on your thighs"

Margret: "Phuck you Harold. That's from my breasts slapping as we walk this phucking beach"

OK ... the parade thru Southie which always occurs on a Sunday rather than the official date of the 17th of March.

Picky, picky. What ... did you think all of my 3 hr ride was a dream?

pcoghlan 03-17-2009 02:08 PM

The way you described it, it was certainly worthy of a dream!! :)

Glad the people of Boston appreciate fine motors

At one point, I took a side road between two 15 story buildings. At the end I took another left to see if it was a shortcut. Nope. Dead end in about 3 city blocks. Now that I knew that nothing was around (police, kids, no cars parked, etc), I did a power u-turn and blasted back up the road and got some downshift rubber too. Turned back the way I came between the high buildings ... AHHHH the sound of 6K RPM and Goodyears barking constantly. The adrenaline and testosterone were flowing wide open.

I finally got back to the intersection where I started this dead-ended shortcut with a wheel hopping downshift and a 4 wheel screech to a halt. As I stopped and waited for some traffic to go by, I noticed about 10 people in their late 20's or early 30's. They were all giving me a round of applause from across the street.

Of course, I had to take off with the rear end fishtailing all the way down the street until the next red light. Ahhhhh, it was a fine ride Laddie. Even got a few goose bumps just typing this out.

Hey Cobra Dan, just so you know, there will two more overweight seniors on the beach soon as we arrive tomorrow at 12:29PM. The beach looks awful crowded but I imagine there will be room for two more fatties. Keep the sun shining for us please.

CobraDan 03-17-2009 05:28 PM

dmorse,
The Spring Breakers are at the beach.

dmorse 03-17-2009 07:08 PM

Spring Breakers? As in College girls? Timing is everything.

TButtrick 03-18-2009 03:24 PM

60 degrees here today. Another 50 miles and stumbled across these three. Silly kit cars. They actually put aluminum bodies on these things and some stupid serial numbers starting with CSX or something..

Just got back from a nice 2 hr ride. Took a couple of vid's and added them to my old thread. Tough life, but someone has to keep the testosterone flowing.

Some help. How do I start a new thread? I can't find the info to start one.

TButtrick 03-18-2009 05:16 PM

Go here and select the correct forum for your post. At the top of that thread list, you'll see a button called "New Thread"
