There's a bunch of "lease versus buy" calculators on the internet that will compare the net costs of buying against leasing a car. The one "wildcard" I can see in this type of deal is the possibility that, after six months, you might say "This is not for me... I want out." Hedging against that with a negotiated "kick out" clause might make leasing not so bad in this unique situation (assuming, of course, the money terms make sense...  ). |
