I have the Garmin Zumo 550 it is for car and cycles. Water proof and using the suction cup mount has worked great. I can even hear it over the pipes at crusing speeds. I add a pad under the GPS, suction mount to the wind shield and rest it on the dash. I use it like a map and I can hit the "home" button anywhere.

My wife still tells me where to go.

I use the Nuvi 770 with the suction cup window mount. Excellent unit, 7 - 8 hours of battery life when cordless. You can't go wrong with any of the Nuvi units...

I carry my blackberry with me which has nav in it but it's very difficult to hear and to hold it in my hand while driving.

I could put some velcro up I guess but that's not a very pleasing solution.

What has everyone done for a nav solution?

I did a search but couldn't really find anything.

Thanks!!!

How old are you?
